The two most asked questions at the Loch Ness Clansman bar are
1. Have you seen the Loch Ness monster?
2. How far is it to the Isle of Skye?

My name is Willie Cameron - answer to all things Scottish especially Loch Ness, whisky, food and drink, a little bit of history, tall tales, short tales, fable and fiction.
Welcome to the living X-files - an experience of a lifetime.

I was once described by Alan Brown of The Sunday Times as having 'boyish sincerity' and by BBC Natural History Unit as likened to Indiana Jones!
I can be found at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel most days and most nights...usually near the bar or thereabouts.

Going back to these questions, there are two seasons for sightings The Loch Ness Monster "January and the rest of the year" and Skye's not for passing the magnificent Eilean Donan Castle on the way - film location for the original 'Highlander'. You too can walk in Sean Connery's footsteps -see you soon!!

Drumossie Moor is 4 miles east of Inverness - better known as Culloden Battlefield.
Here the Jacobite rising, fought so bravely but drained away - cut down by the Duke of Cumberland, the last battle fought on British soil - 10th April 1746.
